The software service enables users to measure product dimensions and weights in manual processes and transfers measured values via the Internet Interface of an "Ohaus Waage NV" digital scale or an "S_Cal EVO" Bluetooth caliper to different services (e.g. MES). A data connection to the MSB can be established via websocket interface.

In the EU project BEinCPPS John Deere and the Fraunhofer IPA are conducting experiments with cyber-physical production systems (CPPS). The project team digitized the manual tractor assembly so that workers are shown the components to be assembled. Thanks to this CPPS, the error rate is reduced and the workers feel safer when gripping the parts to be assembled.
